Are you ready to battle more than the course?
In 2023 we are hosting golfing society battles!
Ready… Set… Battle!
You can choose to take on your friends or we’ll organise for you to battle against another team! Think a Ryder Cup style golfing duel! Don’t worry if you are not up for a battle, we are still hosting normal golf days!
Teams consist of between 8-20 players. Based on numbers we’ll help you choose the best format and keep score throughout the day.

Get in touch today and we’ll take care of the rest, from confirming your playing partners, organising timings, food requirements and more importantly the drinks requirements. We’ll even be throwing in a prize which will be given out after the battle!

Your itinerary for the battle!
- 09:00 - Breakfast
Eggs cooked your way, cured bacon, Cumberlands best sausages, field mushrooms, Baked Beans, roasted tomato, crispy hash brown and toast… that should keep you well fuelled for 18 holes.
Our freshly roasted coffee will give you the caffeine injection you need to get past that 250 yard mark!
- 10:00 - Welcome
A member of our golf operations team will welcome you, provide you with your welcome goody bag, an introduction to the day, the all important competition format and rules/regulations for the day.
- 10:30 - Let Battle commence
No doubt everyone will be feeling the pressure for that all important first swing! Buckets of beers are available to settle the nerves should they be required!
- 12:30 - The midst of the Battle
At the half way point, you’ll have a chance to grab some refreshments and check the live scoring updates!
- 14:30 - After the Battle
You will be smelling our BBQ coming down the 18th fairway and you’ll almost be able to taste the cold beverage of your choice.
You and your comrades will have reserved seating ready for the eagerly anticipated prize ceremony hosted by one of our team!
